Himalayan Nepal Foundation envisions a peaceful Nepali Society where children, youth, adults and olds get better life with fulfillment of all basic needs and live in love and harmony with each other. After more than a decade of civil war there are thousands of children without parents, single parents or disable parents. Children and whole family has been suffering physical and psychological trauma of loosing family members. They have no access to education and basic health treatment.
We know that Nepali society has many needs and problems which are being increased day by day due to population growth, poverty, pollution, social evil spirits, political instability and other different stuffs. But we believe that the needs and problems of a community are inter-related and therefore must be addressed as an integral issue in order to find sustainable solutions.
Himalayan Nepal Foundation aims to make a difference among people in societies with love and supports. Himalayan Nepal Foundation also aims to mobilize and empower poor and marginalized communities with practical, emotional care and affection through partnership with individuals, local groups, governments, national and international organizations.
This Foundation is committed for the welfare and development of society with special emphasis on disadvantaged groups (ethnic / indigenous) and weaker section (women, children, and disable) of rural community by undertaking various need based and self-reliance development, availing the necessary opportunities in national level. Special emphasis is given to the women from marginalized communities such as ethnic, indigenous and Dalit (oppressed) who are more vulnerable to trafficking, forced labor or slavery like practices. It is because of their lack of access to education and training programs and very limited employment opportunities. To address these issues of social inequality and economic disparities, Himalayan Nepal Foundation is aiming to undertake various activities on priority basis.
